Step 1 / 3
Take a front selfie
Look straight into the camera with your whole head in the frame, hair as you usually wear it, no hat. Even lighting works best.
Step 2 / 3 · optional
Now a side photo (~45°)
Turn your head slightly to one side for a second photo. The extra angle lets the AI fit the hat to the real shape of your head.

A beret is a soft, round, flat-crowned cap without a brim, traditionally knitted and then felted wool. The classic French and Basque beret is snug at the band and has a short stalk, the cabillou, in the middle of the crown.
It is all in the angle. Pull the band down over the forehead about a finger above the eyebrows, then shape the crown to one side, toward the back or to the front, depending on how much volume you want. Worn straight and flat, it looks unfinished.
FAQ
How do you wear a beret?
Pull the band snugly over the forehead, a finger above the eyebrows, and push the crown to one side. Tilted to the side or slightly back looks classic; worn back with some hair showing at the front looks softer.
How should a beret fit?
The band should hold without slipping. Berets are sold by head size and by diameter: a larger diameter gives a fuller, slouchier look on the same head.
